In his gentle way, he assured me that this was fixable. He diagnosed a herniated disk. After a few weeks of trying meds, injections, ice, it was just getting worse. Dr Wu said surgery would be our next course of treatment. Yes Please! I responded. He sent me over to ER and Dr Wu operated in me a few hours later!
The pain in my leg was gone. I could walk (well not right away because I did just have back surgery) but following PT and follow up with Dr Wu, I am so much better.
